Desert Willow Resort

Firecliff

The Firecliff Course at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert is a par-72 championship layout stretching over 7,000 yards, designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry with input from PGA pro John Cook. Known for its blend of desert beauty and strategic challenge, the course features over 100 bunkers, dramatic waste areas, and water hazards on several holes, demanding precision on approaches and smart decision-making throughout. Renovations have modernized its Mini Verde Bermudagrass greens and reshaped tee boxes, ensuring top-tier playability and conditions.

Desert Willow Resort

Mountain View

The Mountain View Course at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert is a par-72 layout playing 6,913 yards, designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry with PGA Tour pro John Cook as consultant. Opened as the resort's second 18, it shares Firecliff's fairway contouring and demanding green surrounds while playing slightly easier overall. Wider fairways, limited desert waste areas, and serene water features wind through rolling terrain framed by the Santa Rosa Mountains, and eight tee, options including three combination sets let players of every level find the right challenge. Rating and slope run 73.4/129 on Bermuda grass, and the course is irrigated entirely with reclaimed water as part of the City of Palm Desert's conservation program.
